Currently and Classroom Pics

Currently, I have a few minutes to blog!
Thanks to Farley for the fun each month!
My new job keeps me hopping, which is a great thing.
I'm teaching 4th and 5th grade Reading and Math.

The only one that needs explaining is moving...hubby and I would like to move into his grandmother's old house. It's in a beautiful little town and only a ten minute commute to work for me.
That would make my heart very happy!

Here are a few pictures of my new classroom home. This is the view from the door. I like having tables instead of desks. The rug is our gathering area. LOVE my large windows!!

Sorry so blurry :(
Faith Wheeler's CAFE board, Technology Rocks printables, and
I added a new homework board {Living, Laughing, & Loving}this week.

Class library and READ letters.
I need LOTS of books because I see groups of 4th and 5th graders for Reading.
Maybe I can hit up some garage sales today!
But that would mean more labeling : )

9 computers in my room! How lucky am I?!

My corner with book recommendations on the shelf in front of my desk.
Do you recognize any titles? :)

Pretty flowers along the sidewalk at school.

Any suggestions or ideas for upper elementary math? tips...must-haves?
Math is still pretty new to me, so any advice is much appreciated!

Enjoy your day off! Happy September!
(and Happy College Football Season, too!)
